I just found out that I can get round trip tickets to Narita,Japan for $700. That's about 60 miles outside of Tokyo.

What sights do you suggest I go see. I definatly want to go to a Japanse baseball game. I heard about the beer girls that have Kegs on their back and fill your cup at your seat. MMM beer.

What else cool is there? or watch out for?

well i'm japanese, never lived there but i go back about every two years or so... hmm things that u should look foward to are definitely the electronic goods, MD's CD players... things of that sort are either cheaper and/or better than the ones in the U.S. overall tokyo is a pretty safe city, jus watch out for pickpockets. some of them are pretty good.

Depends on what you're into. Do you want to shop, do you want to see historical sights or do you want to party? How long are you staying and how much do you want to spend (you will spend alot).

Just getting from Narita to Tokyo is a bitch and a half plus it'll cost you an arm and a leg unless you go local.

Tokyo is just like any other metropolitan area, its got all the stuff you want to do only that things close at around 2AM I believe.

Tokyo:
The Electronic Super Markets that sell everything you can wish for
Auto supermarkets that sell stuff like cowdung smelling airfreshner.
Toyota's Showroom where one cant buy a car but can watch movies there
The bullet train
Mid night run from tokyo to Yokohama
Earthquakes
Toilets
The bee hive hotels
the night life
the garden in tokyo (dont remmeber)

I have more, cant remember them.

The people I met were quite nice and pleasent, the food was very good, and I would like to go back a third time, and then a fourth.

The same for China.

The difference is, I was robbed in China, but not in Japan. I'd prefer to live in Japan though I've actually spent more time in China.

Both countries are interesting places. Japan's large cities are safer for Americans than China's. The Chinese are still trying to catch up to the West personal income-wise, and the lone American is a desireable target in China for their cash.

Certain Chinese are quite adept at sucking you into their 'come eat at my off-street restaurant then pay incredibly inflated prices or we'll break your knee caps" scams. Still, it's cheaper than life-long medical insurance co-pays.

I really like the food in both countries. Hmmmmmmm. Too much, perhaps.

Dude, its only a train ride away, they even have the station under the airport. And it isn't that expensive either.

LOL...
You've either got nothing but a hole in the ground
or
Super high-tech James Bond toilet with heater, rinse spout, radio, etc.

beat mania, if you take the Narita Express it'll cost you some good money. Then you have to take the local subway to your destination. With all the luggage you're likely to be holding it is a bitch and a half. Forget taking a cab, that'll run you in the hundreds of dollars. Don't know about buses since I've never taken one to or from Narita. I've also gone the local train route but that takes quite a bit of time with all the stops.
