Anyone been to Cancun?

I just finished watching "The Real Cancun" and I had a question. Is it really that crazy???

There are two sides of cancun, the party and the relaxed/quiet. Yes, parts of it can be that crazy, because of :beer:

I went when I was younger, its beautiful. I went to Xcaret and other natural parks, also visited some of the Mayan ruins near by.

I went with parents when I was about 16, so I didn't get to see the craziness.

Cancuns crazy but never what MTV makes it out to be. The reason being, when you see the people they follow behind the bars and doing all these crazy drinks and shots (never seen the real cancun, but have seen their spring break specials on MTV), thats because the cameras are on them. The club wants you to believe that any one can do that and that it happens alot. It doesn't. It only happens for those 60 minutes that the mtv cameras are there.

ummm... that happens at mardi gras with no cameras around...

My family and I went there about a couple years ago... I was unfortunately at the "relaxed/quiet" part of Cancun though...
