Anyone able to explain why AMD didn't reveal more about the R9-290X?

how do you figure the r290x is below a 780 with a score like 8k in firestrike? the top 780 gtx on the link above only scores a 7732 in firestrike and that card is definetly OC'd like crazy.

You're looking at firestrike extreme...no stock cards can get those numbers but I wish. Would mean 4k would be 100% playable 60fps maybe.

"our fastest card" since saying "the fastest card" would

do conclusions while no clues has been unveiled.

I guess that stretching a stretch to get it back
