i don't really like her voice...it's too high and whiney like...

but her songs are usually pretty good.

Man, i have to agree with you. I just downloaded like 20+ of her albums... i can't believe she even had that many. And you're right, her voice is too high and whiney.

i'm still wondering why i have 5GBs of her mp3's taking up space. hehe. guess it's the hoarding of files behavior of mine. 🙁
ayumi is the cash cow for avex, she cranks out new singles/stuff like crazy, and the ayu fanboys gobble it all up. i guess i understand the fanaticism part, i'm the same way with hello project/morning musume. 🙂

too bad ksci/channel 18 here in socal isn't showing the japan record awards show on new years eve this year. instead they're showing another drama/thing with nakama yukie. i swear i'm going to find the programming guy over there and st@b him repeatedly for forcing so much of her shows on us during the past year or two. the only thing ok was gokusen and that was because nakazawa yuko was in it. 🙂 hopefully they'll show gokusen2.

on a happy note, kxla/channel 44 will be airing kouhaku on new years starting at 5pm i think. woot 6+ hours of sitting on my butt, with the occasional leaving the room during performances of artists i don't care for. 🙂

/me readies his glowsticks for a fanboytastic evening.

oh yeah, love since 1999 is a good song because it's a duet with tsunku written by tsunku. woot.

She's ok, but man something about her voice is annoying.

Sounds like someone on helium trying to do an impression of "The Fly."

I was just thinking if mickey mouse did helium you'd get Ayumi.

the giant dancing domokun made a appearance during matsuura aya's performance at kouhaku. lol, rulage.
