I watched it... that guy is disturbing. Yes, I think most prisoners are coddled and get way to many 'goodies' like cable and magazines etc. They often have more rights than the people outside prisons.

That being said, just because someone is in jail does not mean they lose certain basic civil rights, and I think punishing them by humiliation etc serves no purpose. If it doesn't help solve the crime problem, and often costs the community lots of money in lawsuits, someone needs to put a collar on Joe.

Humiliation is not a very good tool to combat criminals. If they feel humiliation the anger and rage will build up and they will become meaner criminals.
