I cant get enough of this show. Pure entertainment. Amazing how many people who steal the cars actually dont know how to drive.
 
bait car is real and pretty awesome. it's also on a&e sometimes or some other channel. i've definitely also seen it outside of trutv.

he's probably thinking of operation repo or lizard lick, which are fake as hell.
 
I watched that show a couple years ago. I remember only one episode in particular, even though I have seen quite a few.

I think there has been more than a few father + son duos on there, but one in particular was a true family bonding moment. As the lights are flashing, the kid keeps telling the dad to "Go dad go. We can get away". Meanwhile the father was the voice of reason, and kept repeating "No son, they got us. Its over."

I couldn't help but feel for those two guys. Sure, they were stealing cars, but theres that whole Bonnie and Clyde thing going on.
 
Do the perps who say "I didn't steal that car" really think that it's not stealing if the keys were left in the car?
 
That's so dangerous! You never know if someone who steals one of the cars is armed. They need to release a tear gas canister for about a minute before opening the doors.

Armed police officers are in charge of the bait car operation. The guys with the cameras dont do any of the actual apprehension.
 
i like the show. but then i enjoy shows like this. Cops is one of my all time favorite show to watch.
 
I got really pissed off by one of the episodes. They parked the bait car and blocked this lady's driveway so she couldn't get her own car out. She called the police and nobody came to move it, when she couldn't find the driver, she decided to move the car a few feet forward so she could be on her way. She gets around the corner and all the cops pounce on her, after detaining her and running her plates and checking for warrants, they eventually let her go.

She seems to be pretty calm about it, but if it was me, there would have been a much different outcome.
 
Been watching this show now for a few months & I have yet to see an episode where a white person steals the car. This show is racist!
