Anybody using a Thermaltake Mini Super Orb fan?

Do you like your Mini Super Orb?

I'm looking for a fan for a 1+ GHz Athlon in an Abit KT7A-RAID motherboard. I think I read somewhere that the board is cramped, so not much room for the fan. Also, I'll try mild overclocking. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

STAY AWAY FROM ORBS!!! they are evil and you will kill your chip putting on or taking off the MoFo! Don't do it. AMD retail fan is better.

They've fixed the problems with Orbs crushing the cores, but it is recommended that you get something different. There are plenty of tall, slender hs/fan combos, I just can't think of any right now =o)

I have an orb. Hey, I know it looks cool. But just don't do it. There are better solutions for same price (sometimes less).

I've got a SuperOrb on an Athlon 900 and it works great. even running at 938 or 1023mhz.. What EXACTLY is wrong with it, i mean for you guys? As far as I can tell its got great circulation.

Plenty of hsf's will fit the Abit mobo. You can go with almost anything. Try a fop 32.
