You know These portable USB things that you see once in a while? I transfer lots of smal stuff between puters, girlfriend's house, work, etc. - and it would seem that these things would be great for it? I currently use zip discs and have been waiting for a reason to replace them, make some money on ebay and still have a convienent way to transfer files.

Well, not every computer has a USB drive...

but then again, usually hardly any have zip drives!

You should try it out if you have a true need for it... :)

Let us know what ya decide to do!

I have a 64 meg Thumbdrive that I use to transport large graphic or spreadsheet files from my home computer to my work computer. It works very well.

Thumbdrive, eh? Sounds good - I like that 64mb version over at NewEgg for around $80.00 - Anybody know any other vendor who sell these things? A 100MB one would be ideal, could finally get rid of all my zip drives, yech!
