Was it faster/slower than the wall wart that came with your phone/tablet?

it's not just about the quality of the charger... you want a high quality low-AWG cable as well

if you want the fastest charging time, you need your phone to be the bottleneck (i.e. charger and cable can deliver amperage higher than what the phone can accept - phone will negotiate and only draw the amperage it can)

These only supply the power. It is entirely up to the device if it supports faster charging modes based on available power.
