Anybody use a Thermaltake power supply?

I need to buy a power supply and am looking at this one. Text

The 420W one.

How are these?

How is it compared to the Antec True series?

I pretty much dont like thermal take products, but that aside.....Will this be for an amd or p4 system??? If for a P4 pay attention to the amps on the +12v rail....

Antecs are noce but the 430 watt true power is likely more in the high 60's to 70 dollar range...

It's for a amd 2500 barton on an nforce2 board.

I'm also looking at the antec true 430W. But would that be worth the extra money over the thermaltake?

Thermaltake make pretty decent products, I bought their X-Phazer III case and it rocks.
Read the reviews on their Power supplies and they're all positive. They seem to hold voltage very well.
I will buy one myself when my Power supply goes, right now I'm using PC Power 450w and had it for 2 years, it came with a 5 year warrenty but costs an arm and a leg.

I think I came across a review that gutted one and found they're made by Channel Well, the same OEM that makes Antec's PSUs. The build-out was a bit different, but its definitely better than some of the generic junk PSUs floating around out there.

thermaltake just rebadges enlight PSU's as their own. Enlights are ussually cheaper so i'd say just go with the equivilent enlight PSU. enlight (and thermaltake) PSU's are not the best around, but they are quiet, reliable, and well priced. Enlight makes quality products, i would not hesitate to get an enlight, or thermaltake powersupply for that system.

pretty sure they are rebadged enlights but i could be wrong. the part numbers are the same, and they look indentical. on the other hand, i can't say i've ever compared the innards of thermaltake or enlight PSU's with those of a channelwell.
