DahDee, I'm thinking of upgrading from my 8RDA+ for the KX18 Pro II. I have one last piece of information I need to know before I decide to buy this board. Is the vcore supplied by the 12v rail? If not I guess I'll have to go with the NF7-S. Hopefully you (or anyone that knows) can tell me. Thanks in advance.

Incredibly, Newegg has already dropped the price, again, on this motherboard, to $100 (still free shipping). Still nothing but great customer comments there.

SP33Demon, your PC2700 should work just fine, as will a T-Bird; see the specs at Albatron's web site:

KX18D Pro II page at Albatron's web site

Another price drop, to $98 shipped.

It's showing $102 on newegg website. where did you find $98?

You waited too long -- it went back up.

I'm pretty sure I remember running across a review, when I was researching this board before I decided to try it, that discussed in some detail the voltage setup on the KX18D Pro II, and I'm pretty sure it did state this voltage-hungry mobo does have the vcore on the 12V rail. I just did some Google searches for that review and can't find it, so you'll either have to hunt it down on your own or just order the board and confirm it (or not) yourself. Sorry I couldn't find it.

Yeah, I've had a hard time finding this out. Well, I'm in no hurry so I'll continue searching. This is the main reason I want to upgrade my mobo (really the only reason), as I think it is the primary limiting factor in my search for a great overclock. Anyway, thanks for the help.
