I don't know about you, but my wife would have a lot better success plugging in (an already attached) cable, then she will going through the gyrations to get bluetooth rolling:The other way, you just plug in the cable, which is already attched to her PC, then start Mobile Phone Tools!
- Open the Bluetooth application (already in startup directory)
- Click "Search for devices..."
- Wade through phone's menus to Connection, Bluetooth link, Setup, Find Me :roll:
- Click on device listed in Bluetooth application
- Open Mobile phone tools...
My bluetooth dongle was somewhat defective, but my earlier device worked beautifully. Tranferring a picture to/from my SE T616 was just a matter of dragging and dropping through the My Bluetooth Places (?)
I've only transferred small pictures and ringtones, so the speed has never bothered me. My blackberry only has neutered bluetooth now, so no more file transfers :-(
