i recently purchase an USR ext hardware modem off an honest member on this board
but as his post state, no cable, no drive.
I can buy cable on the store
driver is no problem
but i did like to download entire cd
I do not know how many program in the cd.
I am using cable

what model do you have. The white data fax model or the black data fax/voice model.

Thats the model I have and it came with the connections 5.2 disc. There is nothing of interest on the disc, just a Winfax 7 trial and a bunch of internet setup software MSN/ AOL/ Earthlink ect. There is a free Faxing program called Rapid Comm but it was lame and I never used it.

how about control center is that good?
what software do you use with the modem?

There is no control software on the disc. I am on cable and only use it with Winfax10 pro to send and recieve faxes or use it for dial up when the cable modem is down.
