People that say they wanna kill themselves are crying for attention. If you really wanted to kill yourself you woulda done it already, and not troubled anyone else.

The problem is not always temporary. (Further, I would argue that suicide is not always a bad thing.)
 
Here is an article that I really like, it's about continuing on when life is beating up on you. It doesn't coddle the reader. Last time I posted this link I got flamed by Geekbabe and Reddawn though. For what it's worth, they can both go fvck themselves because I think it's a great article. The author also has a lot of other great articles on his site.

The day my wife (we were separated but trying to reconcile things) left to spend the weekend w/some other guy.

I really don't have much recollection of that day. A friend took me to a college football game but I barely remember being there.

I soon realized nothing was worth that...esp. a cheating b!tch of a woman.

Just speaking from personal past experience and from experiences with people I know. It's not a good place to be in and if you yourself won't seek help, maybe someone you know will for you if it's just that bad.

Oh, and thanks for the welcome. I've been around for a while. Just never posted much.
 
What do you mean have I ever been, I've always been. It's never passed, although I don't think I will ever do it, there never is a day that goes by without me at least thinking that I might be better off if I ended it, but then I think of my girl, my animals, and anyone who cares for me and that is enough to make me decide against it. If you have anyone you care for, let that be your reason to live if not for yourself. That is what I do, and from the looks of it, I will ALWAYS be suicidal. I think it's inherited.

I've tried anti-depressants, drugs of all types(I've been on methadone for four years since I can't seem to get away from heroin without it), and nothing seems to work. Most people have no idea about how seriously depressed I am, and certainly not about my past heroin use. It sucks to have to hide everything about yourself or fear being judged by all of your peers and co-workers. Such is life. Don't do something you don't think you'd wish you'd not done in the morning, when the sun is shining and the birds are singing.

BTW, I have been very close to doing it, and once was walked in on while I was hanging by my brother. The second time I was debating whether or not to do it and had a shotgun in my hand, and the same brother pulled up and I had to rush and dismantle the gun and put it away quickly since it was his gun and his house and I didn't even belong there. Don't ask.

You're joking, right? I went through it about 5 years ago, told many people that I was feeling suicidal. Once night I grabbed every pill in the house, and every liquid bottle in the house and ate/drank them all. I was sick for 3 days afterwards, couldn't even hold down water. The day after I got better my life started turning around and I regret ever making that decision.
 
Yes unfortunately we did have an incident towards the end of October 2002 but fortunately no one was hurt.
