Anybody make their own wallpaper?

I just ain't satisfied with the wallpaper I have and can't find anything out there. I'd like to make my own. Any FAQs out there that tells what you need and how to do it?
 
For a graphics editor: try Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.
For some cool ideas/lessons: Link

After that, it's all just imagation... do one about a hobbie, car, video game, whatever you like.

(Make sure you design it in your correct screen size)
 
Yeah I used to.... mostly a tiled black square with some motif on it... something really simple.... It doesn't have to be complicated... 🙂 I used paint in windows... and later on moved to pain shop pro...
 
Heh, I use Paint, usually it's just a solid colour background with text reminding me of stuff I have to do that week.
