Anybody live in OKC?

I need some help. I will be moving down to OKC next month for some training and I need a place to stay. I have been looking online and in the classifieds for some housing and havent been having any luck.

If I find something promising - then its either a shady owner or a shady area (so I'm told). I will be down there for aproximately 8 weeks (starting 11/26). I am also looking for something in the $500/m range or so. Most of the places I have found are around $26-29/day which works out to almost $900/m.

If anyone lives in the area and can give me any tips it would greatly be appreciated.

If you go downtown there will be a bridge where all the homeboys hang out during the day and all the homeless sleep at night. Get yourself a milk crate to sit on and you'll be golden.
