anybody know this ice cream?

I remember this ice cream was at my local 'Homeland' for a few weeks, and after that, it went away. This was at least 12 years ago, and no one was ever able to recognize this.

I do not know what it was called, but it might have been something with a French name.

It was rectangular shaped, and was made in layers. There were chocolate wafers to seperate the layer. almost cake-like.

anyone know what i"m talking about?

it reminded me of tiramisu, but it was all ice cream and chocolate. no bread.

Nope...doesn't ring a bell, but speaking of ice cream, the Chinese restaurant we patronize has coconut ice cream, green tea ice cream, and sweet potato ice cream...sounds like shit, tastes GREAT!

You are probably thinking of Viennetta which was really popular in the 1980's and early 1990's, but I haven't seen it in at least 10 years.
