Anybody know how to disable the wall in FB with the new settings?

Searched google and looked up their help pages nothing work and everything is so unclear. I've pretty changed the setting for each and everything to only me but when I check with "view as" pretty much all the info shows up:wub:

Did you make sure to use the save button?

If all the information is set as you only it should work but link the page here and we can check to make sure it's right.

Ehh, I just use it for some games and some family stuff.

I would recommend it olds as it's a good way to find more victims.

Account > privacy settings > How you connect (edit settings) > Who can see wall posts by others on your profile.
The last one is a lie it does control who can see what you write as well.
It's not quite perfect and still does show who you have added as a friend but yeah.

I did select only me but all my contacts can still see all the information. Check the image. Thanks.

Hmm, looks like there's no way to disable the Wall completely like before. Plus disabling them from seeing posts from others doesn't work on people commenting on your posts or Likes.

Your best bet is to stop using facebook. It's the only way to be sure.

I could disable the wall until a few weeks ago. The damn wall is showing my posts I post everywhere to everyone's newsfeed who has access to my wall.

They wont allow me to disable my postings into other's newsfeeds and now they dont even allow you to disable the damn wall

Well I guess you will just have to use private messages or make a new account to hide your affair.
