Just wanna know cuz I wanna make my own sparkling grape. I'm too poor and chinese to buy those $3 things that go down in a jiffy.
😛

Take it to a u-brew.

Add sugar and yeast, cap, wait a few days, uncap, pour off slowly (there'll be sediment).

Add club soda (cheating).

Put it in an air tight canister. Add a lot of carbon dioxide (pressurize it). Shake very well.

Well, first of all, it's carbonATE...not carbonIZE. And second, yeah I'd say club soda or Ginger ale. You know what's really good? Cranberry juice and diet 7-UP. It's healthy too - good for your bladder.

Amen, sprite/7-up and cranberry-grape juice is the best...

When I was a kid and living in Sweden, a friend of mine family got one of these machine. We used to make our own soda everyday. It tastes like the real thing.. you can buy different kind of flavors like coca cola, orange, lime, etc. It's easy to use.. I mean how difficult could it be when a couple of 8 years old was able to operate it.

go buy a tank of carbon dioxide.

on the valve attatch a 2L pop bottle lid.

make coolaid, juice, whatever.

attatch the 2L bottle of coolaid to the CO2 bottle. Turn on CO2. shake for 5 minutes or so.

bam, its done!..

for grape/orange/lime/etc use coolaid.

you can get rootbeer flavour syrup and make that (watkins sells it i think, but your rootbeer will be clear)

gotta buy coke or pepsi syrup if you want that.

you can obtain a co2 tank from a pop distributor. i think theres $25 or $50 deposit on the tank, and the CO2 to refill it is pretty cheap.

(my uncle makes his own pop all the time) 😀

oh yeah, carbonated Ice tea with lemon is REALLY good. 🙂

CO2 + POP ---> CO3P2

Right then... CO3P2... um, naming convention... negative ions at the end right? Soooooooooooo ...... okay, I give up.

I usually just add club soda too. It's basically flavorless so just add whatever flavor you want into it.
