Anybody know about mobile AMD?

I am really wanting a laptop, but I am a diehard AMD fan, but don't care a lot for there K6 line of chips. I was wondering if anyone knew when the mobile AMD chips would be produced, and what price do you think a high end notebook based on it would cost. Last I heard the Palamino was supposed to debut in Q2 '01, but I haven't heard much hype about it yet, and with Q2 only a short ways away I had expected more media on the subject. Any insight?
 
Have ya checked out the K6-3+ CPU's. They're much better than the old K6-2 ones.
I'm runnin' a K6-3 450+ @ 550 in my desktop and it leaves my old K6-2 500 in the dust.
