Anybody just love to drive on rainy nights?

I was absolutely bored this evening so I convinced my dad to let me take "my" car to give a friend a CD I burned him. After I delievered the CD I just drove around the suburbs enjoying my music. I even got the chance to do some "tactical" driving in my church's parking lot, which is like a slick when wet! 😀 Also got to test the ABS while I was at it! I just love driving, it's so relaxing to me.

i love to drive too...

...but traffic kills it. 🙁

...thats why i go out in the middle of the night and drive. 😀

i wish it would snow though..
Me too. Unfortunately it looks like it'll never snow in SoCal, unless we had a nuclear blowout. Hmmmmm, nuclear winter......

Not anymore.

The last couple of years I've noticed I cannot stand driving at night in the rain. Can't see as well anymore...glare bothers me more.

It is pretty fun. Sometimes I wish my car was RWD so I could fishtail it and do donuts. Oh well, I'm not really complaining🙂

I like to drive when its severe weather and the tornado sirens are blaring..I normally listen to the radio and try to get to the path of the possible tornados. It sucks that I can only do it at night (day job), and it sucks that this year has been so calm...Last November there was a pretty awesome tornado (it wasn't on the ground at the moment) I watched and could see when teh lightning would flash..It was the night of the Carbon Hill (all of you Alabamians will remember that one) storm..I believe this tornado was one from the same storm cloud, as it had moved northeast through Cullman and Morgan and the far south Madison counties...I saw the best part in Lacey's Spring just south of Huntsville.

Driving through night storms when I have to make a long trip makes things more interesting too.. Light rain where you have to constantly adjust your wiper speed gets annoying.

Only if theres not alot of traffic, the glare gets me too. Best is a heavy rain maybe some thunder and lightning, just cruising around with a g/f.....miss having one sometimes 😉

but I love it at night time when I'm going to bed and it's raining really hard after a hot day out.... ahhhhh

Here in Escondido most people are in their houses around 7:30 PM. Traffic was really light and I didn't have any cops around. My wipers suck ass though, have to goto Kragen or somewhere to get new ones. But the music makes up for the clap clap clap clap of the wipers. 🙂 Gas money isn't THAT expensive, especially if you don't drive you car alot like me! 😀

I don't care for it while driving (570lbs of torque makes you spin a lot 😉 )

"You mean some NAAAWWWWWSSSSS?"

There are times when I like to drive and times when I don't. But I like it when it rains because I like the clean fresh air after.

Rain ruins it for me since there's nowhere near the same amount of grip and I spend most of the time spinning my tires whenever my boost hits... it hits pretty hard even at part throttle 240ft/lbs at 2800rpms isn't fun in the wet.

Can't you shut off the boost? 😕

I like driving, but my car isn't very fun to drive. It's slow, has bad handling, and insane amounts of road noise.

No.

My stupid car leaks when it rains (only if you drive it). It comes up in the back floor on the passenger side.

I have no ideal why, and I don't have the money to fix it right now. Only option is to stay home when it rains, or borrow my parents car. Which Ive been doing a lot recently.

i don't like driving out in the rain, only because other drivers are so utterly horrible.. but when there's no traffic, it's fun..

i really more like walks in the rain.. i dunno why everyone is so afraid of rain.. it's just water.. i especially like doing it when i'm sad or depressed... a walk in the rain with a smoke.. that's what i used to do when i was sad.. well when i smoked anyway.. i think the rain has a sort of calming effect on me
