Thanks. After the first reboot in a long while, it resumes now. The second pc is always off & on, so I didn't have the problem. :)

Same test as before

blks done: 1117
run time: 57:24:55
cEMs/sec: 1331862.1
n.high= 4195452
full test: 51.4%

Don't fail me now.

In all honesty we started to have problems when TPR took over, it kinda killed the enthusiasm of being in first place.... and people just seemed to leave after that happened. but that's the nature of DC.

Having said that now we just can't let DPC run over us.

What we need is another round of advertising. A big influx of fresh/returning faces would do every project some good. :)

I am using SB on my 3.06 Ghz Mobile P4, and I get ~2M CEM/s, but it is a laptop which i only keep on for about 15 hrs a week, so I cant contribute much.

But I'm currently done with 48.3% of a test!

question: Is SOB the project that's exactly like Riesel Sieve except for the minimum number and + sign instead of a minus sign?

They're looking for more primes is all I know.

In other news, my 1.8 p4 has been acting funny lately. usually a reliable 1,2xx,xxxcEMs/sec, it has moved up to 1,553,710 & still climbing for the past several hours. Hmmm. I'm not touching this computer. I'll let it do it's thing. :)

There are some variances over the course of a test, though not usually THAT much. Oh well, just enjoy it while it lasts :D

You want to hear about powers that be?
I ordered an antec overture case form compussr, went there, & they never put it aside. They sold it to somone else. The partition magic I was going to buy for $9.99ar from overstock is gone, several mispelled auctions from ebay were found out & taken up with BIN, a couple nice combos from monarch rose in price earlier in the week when they should of been going down, & because of the recent chiniese new year, prices are expected to rise & supply shrinks a little.
