Hello,

Can somebody help me out,

first I'm looking for some good yacht forum for "newbies"

also, looking for good free on-line catalog of yachts, and something like a FAQ that explains stuff about yachts

and also a question, how are the Russian-made yachts are considered in the world ?

Thanks

You can probably find a site of interest here. ;)

I know nothing about russian boats. Keep in mind though, that like everything, you get what you pay for.

Research designers first, then look at the builder. I would look for a long track record of quality work.

"Yacht" is a somewhat nebulous term.

If you can narrow it down a bit, I may be able to give you some sites and recommendations for hard copy magazines.

Before anyone starts in on me, my 'boat' is a 20' Bayliner Trophy.
I just enjoy reading about 90' yachts for sale in Fort Lauderdale, etc.

I myself won't set sail in anything less than a Pacific Mariner

Jeeves had a terrible doosy on his hands cleaning up on our last social. Tut tut.

Dude, you're brave. Admitting to owning a Bayliner is akin to admitting to owning Bose.
