Only thing worse than that tho is asking for spicy food in a THAI restaurant. i thought Indian was spicy till i tried that stuff. OMG. But its so damn good...

The only one I ever go to is in Kitchener, and it's called Vijay's. It gets rave reviews from the local paper, and although the decor is a little dated, you can't beat the food!

*edit* do you know of any good Indian restaurants in downtown Toronto?

To tell you the truth, I don't really enjoy eating Indian food out in restaurants here in Canada. They never make it right. I get much tastier and more authentic food at home or at friend's/families' houses. But then I don't think our food in its natural form would cater to most Canadians/Americans. So restaurants tame it down for the general public.

Both these places are relatively expensive, but the food is pretty decent. For the most authentic Indian food I usually go to one of the many, many, places in Mississauga/Brampton. Just good, cheap food.

Now if anyone out there can end my suffering and suggest a decent (it does even have to be good *sigh*) Indian restaurant in London, Ontario, I will be forever grateful. I went to a place yesterday for lunch and it was absolutely trash :disgust:
