Anybody hook up a G4Mac to a Linksys router? Need help please

I am going to set up a friend's router today and the systems will consist of one Mac and one PC. I have never setup a Mac before and was wondering if anyone could offer some tips or information or even point me in a direction that I could find something. I didn't see anything in the Linksys userguide offering support for a MAC using I believe OS9

i had the same situation and it turned out to be simple. my friend was running osx and all we had to do was go into create network connection and use tcp/ip and set everything to auto. you dont have to do anything special with the router at all. this is just to get internet however, which is all we needed. if you need to share files or anything you need appletalk for the pc.
