Anybody here works for IT in Baptist Hospital in Miami?

They are insourcing their IT with not Help Desk, they are implementing what they call BA (Business Analysts) assigned to a specific sector or group and working proactively not reactive, meaning that they try to prevent any issue before it happens. I like the idea, and applied for it, went to 2 differents interviews, but since my experience (for the last 2 years) is over the phone, I did not get the job. They are looking for more "hands on experience" or that was the excuse that they gave me.
Oh well, maybe in the future.

If they're like most hospitals, they probably don't have a big IT staff so there just aren't many positions. Your lack of hands on experience is probably also a problem.

They have 5 hospital in town, plus many outpatience sites. You are probably right about the "hands on experience" and I though that my experience over the phone would help (we support the entire USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico) with many different applications and systems. Plus I worked in a school, for over 3 years as a Network Manager supporting more than 500 PCs (but it seems that it didn't count for them) -
