Anybody here order the JooJoo? (only 75 were ordered)

lol, I wanted to see how it turned out before jumping the gun. I really want a slate-type device for some stupid reason.
 
So let me get this straight. It costs the same as the iPad, yet it's not as good as the iPad. And we all know how stupid the iPad is. Who would buy this?!

It's got flash. This instantly makes it better. Larger screen, quite a bit more powerful. Yeah, it's still pretty nice.
 
Looks nicer than the iPad to me... It has a faster processor, bigger screen, and it runs Flash!

I'll wait to see the reviews first, though.
 
Microsoft, Apple, and Google have armies of developers working on their tablets... Fusion Garage has 10. They better get bought by a bigger company like Dell or HP quickly, before they get crushed!
 
Pre-ordering tech from small companies is a bad move, particularly given credit card companies only protect you for a limited time while you wait for the product.

HP has Slate, Dell probably has some android version coming out.

ok I'm gonna say it. The JooJoo failed because it sounds like a cutesy name girls might call their vagina. Oh I showed my bf my JooJoo on Facebook lol.
 
I didn't pre-order but I'm fairly interested in seeing the first reviews on it (which should hit tomorrow or Friday I'd assume).
 
Good idea, poor implementation.

Companies are getting closer in the Slate market, but nobody has the perfect Star Trek style tablet... Soon enough.

Yeah. Would be pretty sweet if there was an iPhone app where I could scan my body and it would tell me if I had cancer or something.
 
The key question here is... why did 75 people preorder an unknown device from a new upstart company that has zero reputation so far?

If you're a new company, you have to prove that you have a good product first, before you start taking preorders.
