I'm 3 classes left in my Masters program (Information Tech). My B.S. is in Computer Science. I'm actually quite surprised at the Masters degree. It's seems to be very easy. I don't know if it is because I'm stronger (academically speaking) or because the masters is generally easier. However, I'm sailing through the classes like a hot knife in butter. I don't know if this is something that is common?
 
Working on my Masters at the moment. Classes seem much easier especially since my whole program is online and at my own pace.
 
It depends on the program and the university that the program is at. Some are hard, some are easy. Mine was difficult, but I know the Psychology master's program was extremely easy.
 
Depends on the degrees and the schools. I would think that generally an "IT" program would be easier than CS.

Anyway, I'm thinking of going for a master's soon. I graduated with a BS in CS five years ago... I probably will go for CS again for the MS but have also been considering computer engineering if I want to do something different. I'm sure CompE would be a lot harder than CS, which is a big reason why I might not do it. I will admit to my weaknesses, and my work ethic is not great; trying to do a difficult degree while working full time might not turn out well.
 
I have a Masters in a behavioral science. It would've been ridiculously easy if I wasn't taking a full load of classes and working full time at the same time. But it wasn't too much of a challenge. My program also let me get out by passing a comprehensive exam instead of doing a thesis.
 
I got my masters degree in my last year of college. It wasn't that hard, it was just a lot of work because I had to take five classes during my second semester.
 
I got my master's in Electrical Engineering (undergrad was also EE). It was pretty hard at times, depended greatly on the class of course, as some were easy and some (Random Processes and Analog IC Design..ugh) were awful. Management and some other EE courses that I took for the degree were very easy.
 
I was going into my senior year of EE and realized I didn't want to be an engineer and decided to become a math teacher instead. So I tacked on a year of undergrad by getting b.s. in mathematics and then got a Masters in Education from an accelerated program at ASU (10 months).

I could have done my masters program in my sleep whereas I found EE and math to be quite challenging.
 
i might have a different experience than you.i'm not taking online courses but actually going into school. i'm getting a masters in software engineering

i'm working full time and going to school part time, taking one class a semester. my first semester was easy, but the second semester was a pain in the ass. things get worse when your workload at work is alot too, and then you get packed with school assignments.
i think my school understands alot of people work fulltime so they compensate for that, but if i taking one class a semester and i was unemployed, it would be fricken easy

And before you joke and say what BS is creative writing, YOU try writing a 200 pages of compelling fiction and have it reviewed by a team of novelists and published poets, a few of whom have enjoyed lengthy stays on the NY Times bestseller list. WHILE having to meet a weekly deadline at work.
 
Currently in the middle of my master's. It depends on the class I guess. My program is Networking and Sys Admin but is very geared towards project management and managerial stuff because that's where they are convince we'll end up. So its a different beast than my CS BS.

I recently accepted a GRA (Graduate Research Assistantship) at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. It should last two years (one year guaranteed by contract), which should be enough time to get my masters in CS.

I graduated a week ago with a BS in CS from a no-name public state university (CS program and institution fully accredited by the proper agencies).

I did a thesis for my undergraduate degree, per requirements from my university's honors college for Latin honors. Since I got a GRA, my graduate school automatically signed me up for the thesis option (instead of the choice between it, the project or sheer credit hours). I am not complaining, as I like the idea of coming out of graduate school debt free.

I graduate later today with my Masters in CS. Classes were generally about the same as undergrad.

At my undergraduate university, that appears to be the case. In some classes, I was the only undergrad in them. Oddly enough, the undergrad exclusive classes were more challenging. But, our undergrads are more competent compared to the majority of our graduate students.... even the professors agree.

I'm in K-town. Recently finished my Master's at UT.
 
I am currently going after my MBA in Strategic Management. My undergrad is in Computer Information Systems. I am trying to diversify a bit by getting an MBA. I had to take a couple prerequisites but I am in the meat of my classes now. I plan to take 4 classes a year and graduate in 2011.

The classes are not that hard, but not that easy either. You get out of them what you put into them and I put a lot into them. I relate a lot with my classmates on my business experience and vice versa. I really enjoy the discussions. The tests and papers are challenging, but manageable.

Overall, I am glad I am getting it. I am even tossing around the idea of getting my doctorate after my masters and then getting a teaching job at a university. Don't know if I will do that, but I am considering it.
