Was considering putting one in my car. At first I was going to put an Xbox in it, but after reading all the horror stories about the HDD's dying from the car vibrations, I realized why I've pretty much only ever seen PS2s in cars--no HDDs in them to bust. Anyway, here's what I figured:
1. Need an inverter, around 140 watts, maybe less.
2. Store PS2 under seat and out of sight.
3. Run rca cables from PS2 up through back of seat into headrest mounted monitor.
4. Run audio rca input from PS2 through an extension under the carpet into the back of my Pioneer deck. I think I may need to buy a special adapter from Pioneer to get RCA inputs, b/c the deck has RCA preouts in the back instead.
Any thoughts? I'm doing this because I tend to have several hours between classes, don't live anywhere near my school, and I'm usually stuck there. End up going for lunch with my friends and basically wasting time if we don't have any reading left to do, etc. It would be cool to turn the car on and play PS2 in the back of the car.
