Marvel vs Capcom 2 for PS2 seems to be the rarest of the 3 systems (Dreamcast, XBox, PS2) sells for over $100 used in good shape.

here's a stupid R & B song I'm makin' for you...

===

I call it.. "Fortune Fire 400 SMP"
by fire400 featuring you!

dedicated to tfcmasta97

"here we.. go .. we go .. go go..

baby boy don't hate,
share the love,
comin' from the clouds above?

we got the game,
it's like we made the hall of fame

booyaka booyaka booyaka

life only comes once
we live it like the last
feels like we ain't got a past
it's a game we just trashed

booyaka booyaka booyaka

I went online
the print was so fine
my LCD is rollin'
the jealously is moanin'

booyaka booyaka booyaka

baby boy don't hate,
share the love,
comin' from the cloud's above?

met this chick online,
asked if she wanted to go out and dine?
she burned me hard,
said I was stupid,
for losing my trump card,

it was MVC, MVC-2,
made me break the blue,
felt so happy,
my hands would go clappy,

shake it like this.. yeah baby..

booyaka booyaka booyaka

but there was bit torrent,
gave me a hint,
brain cells met the glint,
my life turn.. turned sweet as a mint

booyaka booyaka booyaka

baby boy don't hate,
I know it's gettin' late,
you think you got it all?
dissin' my homies,
you ain't nothin' kid,

don't joke in my face,
I ain't your slave for taste
rather break this case...

I got a download that gave me victory,
it's sacrifice was sweeter than money,
I got a home 'cuz I play life like it ain't funny,

baby boy don't hate
share the love,
comin' from the cloud's above...

booyaka booyaka booyaka"

END OF SONG

p.s. took me ten minutes to write. if someday a rap artist becomes rich and famous from this song, know that it came from anandtech.com

I used to have that game for PS2...I wonder what happened to it. I think I sold it for something obviously not worth what it is worth now sadly. Such a sweet game....I loved using that green plant guy for health.

excellent, underrated game. and the backgrounds looks good thanks to 1080p upscaling via the ps3.

spider-man, ryu, 2nd wolverine (with the shorter, whiter colored claws), venom, iron man, were my favorites. but on the ps2, you could easily do everyones combo by pressing the same buttons for each character.......

MVC2 is broken as hell :p

I remember playing it a couple years ago, almost the same teams for everyone in the arcades. Magneto, Sentinel, Cable, Storm, Iron Man and sometimes some other random people. So many infinite combos in the game killed it for me :D

You want infinites? Play X-Men vs Street Fighter.

Yeah, that's about the only game I know of where one hit can lead to a guaranteed victory. Marvel 2 really has semi-infinites, not real infinites.

Iron Man and Magneto both have one, which is why they're the most used. Look up Shady-K, he had a crazy Magneto.

They're not real infinites; the other character dizzies out after ~50 hits. I should know - I play it competitively.

Well, Iron Man was the real "infinite." They never hit the ground so they never dizzied out, I've seen crazy comebacks in the arcade with him.

You don't need to hit the ground to dizzy out. Any time you hit somebody with ~50 normals (and they don't even have to be in one combo, just right after each other) they'll spin up to the top of the screen in an invulnerable state.

EDIT: Magneto's most common infinite keeps them off the ground as well.

This is pretty much the only Capcom fighting game that doesn't have 6 attack buttons (weak/medium/strong punch kick) and for this reason alone I couldn't get used to it. I loved MVC1 though.
