Just uninstall it and reinstall it without the crap you don't want. It really doesn't have any of the problems you might think it does (after seeing the AOL icon appear).

I am using 2.64 now. there's a site that was posted some time ago that has all the versions available for download. just do a little research. I could email you the 2.64 or 2.60 version but I intercepted a kakworm virus in an email this afternoon and I'm not entirely confident emailing people.

I have 265 and I haven't had any problems with it, it seems exactly the same as whatever version I had before (260 probably).

Oh well, did you try just reinstalling it before going back to an older version? Not like 265 has many differences from 264 though...

I personally use version 2.5 with the Fraunhoffer (sp?) codec...which they stopped using in version 2.22 i think.
if anyone wants it, or the DLL for the fraunhoffer codec, PM me

I've been using 2.65 as well, I got it the day it came out you might want to try reinstalling it.
