anybody have the nextel i95cl?

Is it worth the 349.99 price tag? Or should I just go with the i90c with the 199.99 price?

From what I've heard, it's not worth the extra money.

This is off on a tangent, but I bought an older phone from a friend. This evening I went over to the local Nextel Reseller, and they said that I have been denied an account based on bad credit, and the only way to get an account would be to pay ~$500 up front. Doesn't that seem a little bit over the limit? That nearly a full year's payment. The thing that makes me mad is that I don't have bad credit. I've never paid anything late, haven't made any large purchases recently, can't think of any other reason... There's no way I'm going to pay that much up front and be locked in a plan w/ an older phone for a year. I believe that I'll wait a little while, buy a new phone, and then maybe re-apply, and give them whatever they want. I do have to have a Nextel phone ASAP though. Every last one of my co-workers has one :disgust:

From what I've read there are no significant improvement in the i95 vs. the i90 except the color screen. IMHO its not worth $349 just for the color screen.

If ya think about it, the phone I just bought for $399 (Well, I ended up paying $250 after some deals) has a color screen, color external display, built-in digital camera and high-speed data capability. That's worth $400. The color screen on that i95 should only add maybe $75 tops to the price of a regular i90.

Thats great, but I would have to change provider and evrything..not willing to do that now. maybe in a couple years when I can move my phone number along with the isp change.

Yeah stick with the i90c, the color screen isn't even that good, only 256 colors.

My cousin bought the guys in his office i90's. They're nice phones.

I'd rather have a Samsung A500 or Motorola T720.. But they aren't Nextel so I dunno.. :\

I use Cingular, going with T-Mobile next year so thats why I like those phones..
