I'm just not sure what my statement has to do with fat jokes...but, hey, if you want to take it that way...fine with me.
1) Hedgehog, hedging
2) We've got porcupines instead of hedgehogs because we're porky. You know, fat. Like your head 😋

I miss NorCal. Used to go to school in Chico, but had friends in Arcata I'd visit pretty often. Now that I'm back in the valley, the furthest north I go is Sac. We do most of our camping in the Sierras or mid coast ie Pismo Beach. We do get to go to Yosemite as often as we like since we're only 1.5 hours away.

Back OT, we still had people launching fireworks last night! We thought surely it'd be over after Sat. night, but nope.
Google Maps says Yosemite is 3hr 16min. from me (161 miles). Haven't been for around 15 years. Want to go. Been hiking every day, could do some there. Very spectacular place. Folks took us there a few times when I was a kid.

Dang. Sacto was around 109F yesterday? I spent a week there for California Boys State when I was in high school. The heat was torturous (summer, or maybe late spring).

Fireworks were still happening here last night as well. The local PoPo were out playing whack-a-mole trying to get it stopped...but...well, it went on until nearly 2 am.

The wedding I went to on the 4th had so much food and most of it was very delicious. I ate the most I've eaten in a bit. Impressed for wedding food. I focused on lots of seafood, oysters rockefeller, clams, mussels, shrimp. Buttery melt in your mouth filet mignon, and a bunch of other good stuff. Chateau Briand and a stuffed shrimp was the main course. I was waddling on the dance floor.

I took a nice big poop later on the 5th. Great food equals great poops.
