Anybody going to the Canadian Grand Prix?

Is anyone planning on going to the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal? I want to go, but I was just talking to a cousin who said tickets go on sale in the fall and that they're likely gone or jacked up in price - not to mention that hotel rooms will be very expensive. If you are going, PM me. I'd like to get my hands on a few official programmes.

I'm not going. But you can always stay in a cheap pink Motel (the pink adds more cheapness). 😉

When I used to go my buddy and I stayed at a campground just outside of Montreal. Name of the place is "Camping Alouette." Decent accomodations and cheap. Check it out. 🙂

Damn...hopefully somebody will go. I owe a girl in Australia a Canadian GP programme. She was one of those car girls at the Ford corporate boxes and sent me an Aussie GP programme, so I'd like to return the favour. Anyone know if you can order these things over the net (not eb@y though)?

Tickets for Montreal are usually hard to get, and not cheap.

The U.S. GP in Indy is not that far away, and from what I was told last week, sales are way off from last year's all-time F1 record crowd of 225,000. Lucky to have 100,000 seats sold for this year's race. The U.S. tickets are also the cheapest, by a wide margin.

Midnight Rambler...thanks for the suggestion. I've never watched F1s on the oval...how are they? F1 drivers tend not to pass as much as Champ car drivers...maybe that's why the ticket sales are off?
