Anybody go get the free Grand Slam at Denny's yet?

When I called after class the lady was like "hello". I asked her how long the line was and she got all pissed off and said "I don't know, it is around the building". Needless to say, I didn't eat Denny's today 🙂

I call bullshit on people lining up.. It's one free meal... worth near nothing.

Why would...wtf? "call bullshit"? Yeah, the OP really made that one up to get to people.

Never underestimate the cheapness or stupidity of the American public. Your post is a good reason.

The news was showing over 400 people at our local Denny's lined up at 6:30am 🙂

Should I feel bad that my bar tab was $80 last night and people are waiting hours for some shitty breakfast?

At noon the lines were 20 minutes on Hegenberger, Oakland, CA, USA. We got our food and were out in another 20 min. I think the lines were large in the morning.
It was a good deal and I'm not a big fan of Dennys.

I wouldn't do one of those Black Friday overnight waits for it.

I went by the 2 Denny's that are close to me this morning after class. (about 10 a.m.) Both places had at least 200 people waiting in lines outside the building.

IMO, Denny's food isn't good enough to wait 15 minutes for, let alone 2 hours or more...even if it is free.

You couldn't beat it. I mean it was a beautiful, beautiful breakfast. It was fit for a queen or a king,

This is from a CNN story on the Denny's giveaway. So sad ...

Are you freaking serious? 200 people waiting for a free $4 meal??? Ridiculous. I guess its all those unemployed people with nothing better to do... What a shame though

Eating at Denny's ought to be considered community service.

I better get double credit for eating there.

Over priced. Under taste.
