Anybody get directx 9.0c installed?

I'm trying to install 9.0c but all I get is a message saying components are installed.

I am running XP Home (the version that came with my laptop) w/ SP2. Any tips on getting my directx updated?
 
Are you sure it isnt installed already? Go to Start > Run > Type "dxdiag" and see what version is isntalled.
