Anybody ever not pay a bill company?

I've been getting indian support centers each time I call anyways. I wish I could talk to the local office but I was told "They don't have a phone number" Lol.

Even better, just call, give them your spiel about being pissed off and hang up. The connection charge to the company on those calls is about $10-$15. Doesn't cost you much time and it's easy to get back at the company.

And people ask me why I didn't have kids. 😀

I can guarantee they will eventually come looking for their money. If you have an issue with the company then call them up and complain or cancel your service and get another service.

Charter is your cable/internet provider I am guessing?

did you read entire post or post title?

I hate charter with a passion, it was like pulling teeth just to leave them.

They witheld my phone # for 3 months and would not release it to my new carrier.

I PERSONALLY had to make the calls and complain/write letters to make it happen.

It astounds me the way you people are enslaved by your credit score. Either give them whatever they want to preserve your magic number, or tell them to eat shit and die.
The reason they fuck with you is because no one ever stands up to them. Get on the phone, rip someone a new asshole, then rip his boss a new asshole, once they know you're crazy, they will back off.

File a complaint with the state's Attorney General office. It's considered the most annoying practice by many companies. Complaints are sent to the in-house legal department and must be responded to within a very short deadline. It's very effective if you were actually wronged.

This. If you feel you are right, defend your position to the death and be willing to do ANYTHING to get satisfaction...otherwise you've proven you don't really care, and so can just let it go. I have faced court, fines, even Captain's Mast over stuff so minuscule even Scrooge would have let it go.

My father was tired of receiving charity letters, credit offers, and marketing crap which included postage paid return envelopes for his 'convenience'. He began cutting the sheet lead we had in the garage to fit the envelopes and returning EVERY one of them. After about 5 months of that, we stopped receiving 90% of our junk mail.

In your case, call the AG, the BBB, visit all the internet corporate rating and hate sites, write letters to all the surrounding paper editors, contact the media repeatedly and get others to do the same, get people to picket the business on public streets, write THOUSANDS of letters and get others to do the same, call them every spare minute (and have others do the same) until they get a restraining order...basically become any companies worst nightmare.

If you HURT a company, they will likely change. If you bitch and do nothing, they'll hurt you. Welcome to life.
