Anybody ever had a problem where your enter key stopped working in certain programs?

Like, it doesn't happen right when I turn on my computer. But after a undetermined amount of time, my enter key stops working in some programs, such as mirc, and when I play Battlefield 1942. Anybody ever heard of a problem like this, and how it might be fixed?

Try pressing ctrl-alt-delete once when it doesn't work. It should fix it.

never happen'd here it's either the entire wireless keyboard or nothing, unless the batteries are low i've never had a problem.

Yeah, this is just a normal keyboard, I don't see how the enter key just wouldn't work rather than all the others, and not even all the time either.

Electronicall stuck Ctrl, Shift, or Alt key?

Try pressing the various Ctrl, Shift, and Alt keys repeatedly and see if that clears it up.

Or...try a different keyboard.

Hmm, it seems that it only gets this problem WHEN it's on my username (windows xp, multiple users set up). What could be the problem? It's not an enter problem when I press enter to go to a new site, it's more like of a carriage to the next line problem.

if it does then your kb is fuct, if it doesn't then report back

Have a mod move it to there then. Theres no reason I need a new keyboard, since it only does this under MY username, and not everybody elses. It works PERFECTLY for everyone else. Now, how could that be a keyboard problem?
