I can't find the link at the moment but there was a thread in P&N with links that showed that 3 out 4 people actually make purchases from Pop Up Ads and Spam E-mail.

It is not hard to believe. When I was doing PC Repairs where I go to the homes (similar to Geek Squad) I found that people had in fact purchased what they thought was Anti-spyware programs from the Internet Pop Up Ads and/or Spam E-mail.

Quite a few were embarrased and mad when I showed that they paid $49.95 to infect themself with a program that is actually Spyware itself.
 
No, because pop-up ads are the devil, and people who make pop-up ads are the lowest form of psuedo-life. Buying something from a pop-up ad would make me lower even than them, and in league with the devil, and I'm not all about that.
 
I haven't bought anything, but I once won the chance to get some stuff for basically free because I was a website's millionth visitor!!

I know what you're thinking, what are the odds eh?

Just asking on an internet forum, a computer related one no less, will obviously yield no takers. I think the spammer count on the hardcore computer illiterate that think bonzi buddy is actually there to help
