Anybody else think Britney's wedding is just to get media attention?

Do you guys think she pulled this stunt to get attention and boost her record sales or do you think she was too drunk and did something stupid? I'm going to wait for Britney Spears sex tape.
 
She has outgrown her teeniebopper talent and is unable to make the transition into adult performer.

she is drinking and drugging and doing all sorts of stupid stuff aimed at media attention and accomplishing her career down the tubes.

According to the media here it was just a joke that went a bit too far, and they already divorced again too for that reason.

Edit: Why do people even care about what she does? She can't sing and isn't all that pretty. And no, that still does not mean an ATOTer has a chance with her.
 
I think that it may or may not have been a joke. I also think that her record label didn't know about it and when they found out they demanded her to get an anullment. I wish that she would have gotten married for love and stayed married. Maybe then her life would change for the better. Not because she got married, but because there was someone else in her life, another prioriety, someone to help her out.

I don't know I think the lifestyle of a celebrity would lead to unhappiness for most people, I know it would for me. The celebrity lifestyle certainly has destroyed enough people in the past. I wish her well.

It's mildly amusing to note that for all her superstardom she lacks both the talent and the clout to tell the record label to go screw itself. Just shows that she's wholly a product of the label rather than of her own abilities.
 
She certainly fulfills the stereotypical "dumb blond" dingbat. It'l be fun watching her youth fade in to a sack of wrinkles from all the booze..cigs..and drugs.

I really feel sorry for the "groom", I hope he at least got to screw her a few times for all the crap hes gonna take from the media camping at his house and such.

I also don't think they signed a prenup (considering the circumstances in which the wedding took place) so he could probably also get more, if he's willing to lose the friendship
