Looking at the talent they have this year........they are INCREDIBLE

Every player is stronger and faster than last year, plus Danhtay Jones is so athletic. They looked great at their first exhibition game on monday

Any thoughts?

Hate to say I missed the game on monday. I'm a huge Duke fan. Coming from NC most people assume I'm a UNC fan but I honestly can't stand UNC.

GO DUKE!!!!!!!!!!

I went to the Duke - Wake Forest game last year at Wake. It was the best college game I've been to. I'm gonna try to get tickets again this year.

I think it is only appropiate that they win it all considering the season they put their football fans through....again... :D I'm an NC State fan and it actually looks like they may have a halfway decent team this year

Nitemare misses Jimmy V :(

This is a no brainer. Two of the best point guards in the nation - JWill and Duhon. One of the best frontcourt players in the nation in Boozer. A very versatile and smart swingman in Dunleavy. And an absolute athletic monster in Dahntay. Ewing looked liked a seasoned veteran in his first game. Horvath is the best 3 point-shooter on the team AND he's 6'10. This team just gives me chills.
GO DUKE!

Sorry folks. It is my Kentucky Wildcats turn this year. ;)

Four returning starters and lineup that easily goes 12 deep.

nope, sorry burnedout your season went down the drain with the Parker injury, but hey look on the bright side - that means he'll stay another year before jumping to the No Basketball Association ;)

Can't buy that. Camara is back. Hayes can rebound and pound nearly as good as Parker. Marquis Estill can outshoot Parker from the floor. Besides, both hit FTs better. Mark my words. Kentucky WILL be in the Final Four this year and they WILL beat Duke on December 18th in East Rutherford.

Yes, I am looking for Duke to repeat...repeat the losses they had last year, with interest!

I hope Wake can finish them off for good instead of the Duhon fluke last year.

hmm, is Prince, uhmm I mean Saul Smith still your point guard?

JP Blevins starts at the 1. Cliff Hawkins is b/u. Saul Smith graduated and plays in the IBL. But hey, it's nice when Prince, a 6-9 player with the wingspan of a 7 footer can play the point.

Losing parker is a big blow for UK, but they will be tough...

I can't stand Duke, but this team might be the best one they have ever had...

Terps will be there in the end too....

Don't count UNC out!

I really don't think so. Because there is Stone, Camara, Hayes and Estill. Estill ate UNC for lunch last year in Chapel Hill. Parker was good for points in the paint, no doubt. But he still struggled shooting from the floor. With Camara back, it's shot blocking city baby!!!!! Oh yeah, Camara hits treys too.

I'm telling everybody, the Wildcats are going to the Final Four this year.

Be There

Aloha

guard play is important. UK has no guard play , hence they will not be in the FF next year. JP Blevins has not shown anything. Haven't even heard of Hawkins. I guess Bogans plays the 2, right? He's decent, but dissapears too much. You may have depth up front, but you don't have a monster in there like what Parker was supposed to be. Prince is too skinny to play up front and too slow. Our version - Mike Dunleavy is much much better. You need 2 superstars on your team and a strong supporting cast to win it all and Kentucky barely has one in Prince and Bogans doesn't even come close. The rest of your team is too inconsistent to go deep in the tourney.

Yeah. Thats what all the damn Duke fans were saying in '98 when we came back from 18 points down and beat their asses.

Prince can hit from the outside just as good as Dunleavey. He's more athletic and better inside. You put way, way too much emphasis on Parker. You haven't heard of Gerald Fitch either, have you? .444 3 pt percentage as a frosh. And you didn't see Camara play two years ago, did you?

We'll see who eats what words on December 18th there dookie.

yeah that 98 loss hurt, but this is not a team full of frosh. You guys aren't even the best in the SEC anymore, heck you aren't gonna be the best in the state of Kentucky for long with Rick Pitino at Louisville now (I bet you guys really liked that one :D )

GO DUKE
