That is Jim Everett the ex LA Rams QB. Rome called him Chris Everett (a female tennis player) on his radio show for years. Then he tried it on his ESPN show.

I can't say I'm too fond of his whole Harvard Gangsta persona, but he comes up with some interesting takes on events and some of his callers will give me a grin now and again.

Every Rome caller sounds like he is reading a script. Their are so many other better talk shows out their.

jim rome is a jackass. there is no doubting that. however, he even says it himself, try his show for a week, maybe a month. you'll get used to it, and learn why there is a following.

I used to hate him, but he's a very opionated person, and does get out of hand, yet always stands up for what he says. and if you disagree, you disagree.

i think he's a closet star wars dork.. for someone that hates it so much, he sure knows a lot about it 😛

There's a pretty big following that believes that whole Everet thing was staged. Personally, I have no idea nor do I really care. I do listen to his radio show whenever I get a chance, though.

The thing that bothers me the most is he will go on about the same subject for like 2 minutes
repeating the same 2 or 3 sentences over and over ....


Some callers are funny, some are stupid, but they definitely make the show better ...

Rome always says he could do the show by himself, without them ...
