So Gamestop might be to blame more than Microsoft is.

Damn skippy they are!!! The Gamestop by my job took over 300 preorders!!! They had no clue how many they were getting, but they knew damn well it wasn't going to be anywhere near 300.

Uhhh, they don't justify, they state it as immutable fact?

At least the guy on the phone replied instantly that I was "second shipment" when I told him the date of my pre-order. That's either a good sign or a(nother) blatant lie.

Oh, I get it now. Well, it's not worth it to me to make a big stink over it. The one thing I recall (or invented??) is that I can use my pre-order $$$ as store credit if I back out.

I got a similar call this week from the local EB I pre-ordered from (at least it was an actual person) and they said it would be a week to two weeks late. I believe I was about the 30th pre-order. Oh well.

Now I'm thinking that the Target in SoBro (that's the yuppie name for the South Bronx) is my best option. I'll have to go there the day before to scout it out. 😀
