Anybody else dislike the NBA Playoff Format?

NBA playoffs have been a joke since they absorbed the old ABA. Its not a wonder they degenerate yet more.

Shorten the season by 20-30 games? Yea, that'll happen. I actually like the idea, but the owners would NEVER go for it. Do you know the amount of revenue they would lose if they had 20-30 (which means 10-15 fewer home games) fewer games a season? I would like to see it happen though. A 64 game NBA season would be perfect I think.

How have the NBA playoffs been a joke since then? The ABA was (partly) absorbed in 76, there have been a ton of classic NBA playoff series since then.
