So basically, the OP loves guns, but lives in Singapore and as such can't own anything more lethal than a rubber band and you guys are supplying him with wank material.

No way am I going to post a copy of my FOID card, but I do have numerous pistols, shotguns, and rifles.

I've heard it referred to as clip as well.

I was going to say, unless they are using WW2 M-1 garands(sp?) you should have magazines. clips were exactly that, they were a metal clip that held the bullets in line, the gun would "peel" the clip from the bullet as it entered the chamber, after expending the rounds, the clip would be ejected from the top of the gun.
