Any1 Else Shave with Rubbing alcohol as aftershave?

i use it, it is so much more effective than regular aftershave. good wakeup in the morning. cheaper. lots of advantages.



and no, alcohol doesnt really hurt bad. hell, i've cautherized my own wounds... alcohol is nothing. 😛

nope, i don't even use aftershave, i just moisturize my face a bit after the shower (which is where i shave)

aftershave is so you dont get small infections on your face after shaving. that's why it has alcohol in it. i just use strait alcohol.

u'd think. actually, try it. it does cook you. because though you dont know it, you did put hundreds of small cuts in your face while shaving. that's why you use some form of alcohol, to clean out those cuts.


besides, small amounts of physical pain dont bother me.

Dude, everclear is ethyl alcohol, Rubbing is Isopropyl, I think you will be doing some permanent damage if you drink that stuff.

I was talking about the ODOR, and yes, drinking rubbing alcohol will do things like blind you

faster? how could it be faster... you have to apply shaving cream and crap.

if you get good, you dont have to do multiple passes with a razor, like you do with an electric 😛

yeah, at that point, i didnt have much choice. i was out of floss, thread, and anything else i could make stitches out of. and i had a rather nasty gash along my leg. so, i bandaged it as well as i could, got a fire going, cleaned it out, held it together and cautherized with the coals on one end of a stick. pretty good way of closing a wound. i didnt get an infection, either 😛

I bought some cheap vodka, and use that. much better than other stuff. I hate the smell of most aftershaves.
