Any way to tell what software tagged an mp3?

A few weeks before my computer crashed I had found a simple to use mp3 tagging freeware program that I really liked. I had tried several different programs before finding this one.

Now for the life of me I can't remember what the name of the software was. After the crash I just loaded Win 7 (had XP on the old drive) so I lost all my software programs. I still have the mp3's that I tagged (from external backups).

Is there some program that I can scan the files with and see what tagging software I used?

I highly doubt it, unless the program itself put something in the tag

Mp3Tag is what I'm using now but I really liked the interface on the other one, it just seemed much simpler to use.

Get use to Mp3Tag it's the best tool out there and Google is your friend for surfing and searching to help you find the other one. 😉

Kid3 is simple and nice for finding hidden tags, so check it out, as far as simplicity goes, it doesn't get any simpler...
