Any way to schedule a PC to turn on at a certain time?

I'm in college right now, and I'm on winter break, so I'm back home.

While at home, I like accessing my computer via Remote Desktop, but we were required to turn everything off before we left the dorms. If it's not turned off, they unplug themselves.

Is there any way I can have the PC turn back on at a scheduled time if I turn it off?

OR, if there is any other way I can get around this little dilemma, please share!

Thanks for the help!

A lot of times there are issues getting wake on LAN to work, so you should test it before you're locked out of the dorms. If it doesn't work, some BIOSes have a startup time where the computer will turn on at a certain time that can be set - you might want to look into that.
