Any way to 'save' Windows XP updates?

Hi,

I'm thinking about doing a clean install of XP in the next couple weeks. I have everything backed up except for the 12-13 Windows updates that I downloaded. Are these update files available anywhere in the Windows folder, so I can just burn them on CD and re-install them later? It's kind of a pain since I'm on dialup. Thanks

i don't think winxp save the downloaded files.. the downloaded updates are probably deleted after they are installed.. you can go to microsoft's download page and download which ever updates you need then burn them onto cd.. windows update files aren't huge and they shouldn't take too long to dl anyway..l

You can go here to the Windows Corporate Update site and it let's you save the downloaded Update files to your hard drive instead of installing them. Gotta be using IE as your browser. Doesn't work with Opera or Netscape.
