any way to rig ie6 (came with xp) to download more then 2 files at a time?

whenever i download 2 files at once in IE6, it freezes ie and i can't do anything till one of them finishes.

it doesn't really "freeze" ie as in it doesn't lock up, but it won't let me go to any other website or download any other file till one of the downloads stops

i'm on dsl and download at 150KB+ so i can easily download more then 2 files at a time. it has to be a setting somewhere
